This is just one group trying to ensure “reworking” food is not a normal practice.“I was appalled that there were actually human beings that were OK with this,” said Kantha Shelke, a food scientist and spokeswoman for the Institute of Food Technologists. “This is a case of unsafe food. Life-threatening infectious disease responds better to homeopathy than allopathic medicine
February 22, 2012
Homeopathic medicine has a long, successful history of prevention and treatment of illness without harmful side effects. Documentation spanning several centuries has shown the incredible effectiveness of homeopathy during some of the most deadly epidemics in history.
Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician in the 1800s, is considered the father of homeopathy. Dr. Hahnemann, a man deeply rooted in the scientific method, critically condemned the medical practices of the day such as bloodletting and purging with medicines made with mercury, lead, and arsenic. Feds succeed in destroying entire business of Amish raw milk farmer
February 17, 2012
It is with much sadness that we report the two-year war waged by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) against Pennsylvania Amish farmer Dan Allgyer has been a success. The Washington Times and others are now reporting that, following a ruling last month by Judge Lawrence F. Stengel that Allgyer could no longer ship raw milk across state lines, he is officially shutting down his entire Rainbow Acres Farm.
Provoking Allgyer to shut down his farm appears to have been the goal of the FDA all along, which back on February 4, 2010, conducted a gestapo-style raid on Allgyer's Kinzers, Penn., property to search for evidence that he was shipping raw milk across state lines. Read More

President Obama signed his 86th executive order (13575) on June 9, which established the White House Rural Council (WHRC). Evidence of this can be found in Section One of the Executive Order, which reads:
Section 1. Policy. Sixteen percent of the American population lives in rural counties. Strong, sustainable rural communities are essential to winning the future and ensuring American competitiveness in the years ahead. Just one piece in the puzzle of why
healthcare costs are so high...
Aetna Inc. (AET) is suing six New Jersey doctors over medical bills it calls “unconscionable,” including $56,980 for a bedside consultation and $59,490 for an ultrasound that typically costs $74.
The lawsuits could help determine what pricing limits insurers can impose on ”out-of-network” physicians who don’t have contracts with health plans that spell out how much a service or procedure can cost.
One defendant billed $30,000 for a Caesarean birth, and another raised his fee for seeing a critically ill patient in a hospital to $9,000 in 2008 from $500 the year before, the insurer alleges in the suits. The Caesarean price was more than 10 times the in-network amount Aetna quotes on its website. Read More

FDA Clamps Down on Unapproved Cold
The Food and Drug Administration ordered companies to stop selling roughly 500 cough, cold and allergy medicines because the prescription drugs weren't approved by the agency.
Many of these unapproved drugs went on sale before a 1962 law required the FDA to assess a drug's effectiveness and safety before allowing it on the market. For years, the FDA had allowed these grandfathered drugs to remain on sale, and doctors would sometimes prescribe them, confident that decades of use had proven their worth. These drugs tend to be made by small companies, and aren't top-selling brands. Read More

The American Medical System
A definitive review and close reading of medical peer-review journals, and government health statistics shows that American medicine frequently causes more harm than good. The number of people having in-hospital, adverse drug reactions (ADR) to prescribed medicine is 2.2 million. (1) Dr. Richard Besser, of the CDC , in 1995, said the number of unnecessary antibiotics prescribed annually for viral infections was 20 million. Dr. Besser, in 2003, now refers to tens of millions of unnecessary antibiotics. (2, 2a)
The number of unnecessary medical and surgical procedures performed annually is 7.5 million. (3) The number of people exposed to unnecessary hospitalization annually is 8.9 million. (4) The total number of iatrogenic [induced inadvertently by a physician or surgeon or by medical treatment or diagnostic procedures] deaths is 783,936.
The 2001 heart disease annual death rate is 699,697; the annual cancer death rate is 553,251. (5) It is evident that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the United States.
Is your doctor, caregiver, hospital or clinic guilty of Iatrogenic deaths?
"I don't believe I ever killed a man that didn't deserve it", spoken by John Wayne in "The Shootist" (his last film).
How many doctors, nurses and care givers can make that statement?
Let's learn a couple of new words that both refer to the broad range of medical mayhem inflicted on patients by their caregivers; "nosocomial" and "iatrogenic", and then look at their significance.
The term "nosocomial" comes from two Greek words: "nosus" meaning "disease" + "komeion" meaning "to take care of." Hence, "nosocomial" should apply to any disease contracted by a patient while under medical care. Read More
TSA caught in more radiation lies
TSA claims about the safety of its radioactive full-body scanners are falling apart — and now, even the agency’s pals are backing away.

During the flush 1990s, companies began ramping up these gifts dramatically -- entertaining doctors at expensive restaurants, sending them to conferences in exotic locations, even writing checks disguised as "unrestricted educational grants."
