Double agent led CIA, allies to terrorists, underwear bomb
Seattle Times
Greg Miller
May 9, 2012

The latest al-Qaida bomb plot targeting U.S. aircraft was unraveled from inside the terrorist group by operatives — including a double agent — working on behalf of the CIA and its counterparts in Saudi Arabia and Yemen, according to U.S. and Middle Eastern officials.

The Saudi intelligence service played a particularly important role in penetrating al-Qaida's affiliate in Yemen and recovering the explosive device, according to officials who described an elaborate espionage operation in which the CIA tracked the bomb's movements for weeks and then killed suspected plotters in a drone strike after the device was seized.  Read More

The CIA thwarted a suicide plot by al-Qaida's affiliate in Yemen to bring down a U.S.-bound airliner near last week's one-year anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death with an upgraded "underwear bomb," the Associated Press reported Monday. The White House quickly released a statement insisting "the device did not pose a threat to the public."  Read More

Do you agree with this statement? Government has no business telling us what to drink, what to eat, what kind of medicine we should take, what to smoke, what to farm, or how to run our private lives.

These are all elements of individual liberty or what you might call personal freedom. They are all part of the bigger push to get Big Government off our backs and out of our lives. But do the people who call for individual liberty really believe in it themselves? Or are they carrying around a sharp contradiction in their own beliefs?  Read More

Spies will no longer have to plant bugs in your home - the rise of 'connected' gadgets controlled by apps will mean that people 'bug' their own homes, says CIA director David Petraeus.

Could this CIA secret weapon of assassination be the cause of Andrew Breitbart's Death?
Freedom Fighter Radio
March 26, 2012

This information is very old but may be related to the cause of the recent death of Andrew Breitbart. Why was this not brought up by the media cartels?

In 1975, during the Church Committee hearings, the existence of a secret assassination weapon came to light. The CIA had developed a poison that was supposed to cause the victim to have an immediate heart attack. This poison could be frozen in the shape of a dart and then fired at high speed from a pistol.  Read More

We’re getting a lot of e-mail this weekend about an executive order issued on Friday afternoon by President Obama titled “National Defense Resources Preparedness.”  While the timing of the EO is curious — why send it out on a Friday afternoon when an administration is usually trying to sneak bad news past the media? — the general impact of it is negligible.  This EO simply updates another EO (12919) that had been in place since June 1994, and amended several times since.  Read Here

U.S. Intelligence: No Evidence Iran Building Nukes

The New American
Alex Newman
February 27, 2012

Despite the widespread hysteria over the potential of a nuclear-armed Iran, American intelligence agencies have still not found evidence that the Iranian regime is actually pursuing atomic weapons, according to recent government assessments cited in news reports and congressional testimony from top U.S. officials.

In fact — as the New York Times reported on its front page over the weekend — the consensus view of the U.S. intelligence community since at least 2007 has been that the Islamic Republic stopped seeking to build nuclear bombs almost a decade ago. And that remains the predominant assessment today.  Read More

"What no one seemed to notice," said a colleague of mine, a philologist, "was the ever widening gap, after 1933, between the government and the people. Just think how very wide this gap was to begin with, here in Germany. And it became always wider. You know, it doesn’t make people close to their government to be told that this is a people’s government…”  Read More

Cutting Military Spending Does Not Mean Cutting Defense
US News
Ron Paul
November 21. 2011

When asked about my intention to cut the U.S. defense budget, I am always quick to clarify that I want to cut military spending, not defense. I want America to be the most strongly defended nation in the world, but I oppose our current foreign policy that stretches our troops thin across the globe so we can play world policeman. This foolish endeavor costs us dearly in lives, and it has become far too expensive to sustain.  Read Media

Research on population control, preventing future births, is now being carried out secretly by biotech companies. Dr. Ignacio Chapela, a University of California microbiologist, discovered that wild corn in remote parts of Mexico is contaminated with lab altered DNA. That discovery made him a threat to the biotech industry.

Chapela was denied tenure at UC Berkeley when he reported this to the scientific community, despite the embarrassing discovery that UC Chancellor Berdahl, who was denying him tenure, was getting large cash payments – $40,000 per year – from the LAM Research Corp. in Plano, Texas.

Berdahl served as president of Texas A&M University before coming to Berkeley. During a presentation about his case, Chapela revealed that a spermicidal corn developed by a U.S. company is now being tested in Mexico. Males who unknowingly eat the corn produce non-viable sperm and are unable to reproduce.  Read More

I’ve gotten some pushback from folks who say that it’s wrong of me to focus attention on Ron Paul’s desire to make abortion illegal when there are so many others issues out there. I have two responses to that. One is to say that, obviously, any president needs to operate within a multi-part political system. The other is that according to Ron Paul, this is “the most important issue of our age”.  Read More

We should expect high “grades” from them, because it is not difficult to determine whether legislation oversteps the clearly delineated, limited powers of the Constitution. If there is uncertainty, the Bill of Rights tells the government everything else is off limits.  Read More

The Dead, the Dollars, the Drones: 9/11 Era by the Numbers

September 9, 2011

Ever since the Twin Towers fell, the United States has been at war. The costs of that decade of conflict have been unimaginably high: trillions of dollars spent, hundreds of thousands of lives lost. The numbers are almost too big to grasp, let alone quantify. The graphics below are our incomplete attempt to do so.

These figures are also a way of showing the radical transformation the U.S. military has undergone during the 9/11 era. Drones, once an afterthought in tactical plans, have become a central component, flying millions of hours in combat. Special operations forces have added tens of thousands to their ranks. Bomb-resistant armored vehicles, absent from the American arsenal in 2001, are now a primary means of battlefield transportation — even as Afghanistan’s militants find new ways to render them irrelevant.  Read More

Pentagon declined to investigate hundreds of purchases of child pornography

A 2006 Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigation into the purchase of child pornography online turned up more than 250 civilian and military employees of the Defense Department -- including some with the highest available security clearance -- who  used credit cards or PayPal to purchase images of children in sexual situations. But the Pentagon investigated only a handful of the cases, Defense Department records show.

The cases turned up during a 2006 ICE inquiry, called Project Flicker, which targeted overseas processing of child-porn payments. As part of the probe, ICE investigators gained access to the names and credit card information of more than 5,000 Americans who had subscribed to websites offering images of child pornography. Many of those individuals provided military email addresses or physical addresses with Army or fleet ZIP codes when they purchased the subscriptions.  Read More

Lets talk unemployment!
I realize my education is from Louisiana, so someone might need to help me.  I have been talking with Steven of the blog Saw's Saws, and he can't figure it out either.  So I am going to just lay it out.

The unemployment figures for April are in and they are on the rise.  Not necessarily a surprise, even though the economy is in "recovery", according to our president and "the economists who officially decide when recessions start and end."   Our new unemployment figures for April are at 9%.  According to a May 7th article in the New York Times and the latest Press Release from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employers in the US "added" 244,000 jobs in April.  More than expected, more than in March (when only 221,000 jobs were added), when unemployment figures went DOWN from 8.9 to 8.8!

Here is something else for you to ponder...while there were 244,000 jobs ADDED during the entire month of April, April actually averaged 431,250 per WEEK in initial Unemployment Claims...That is a whopping 1.7-plus MILLION initial claims JUST IN APRIL!  In March, according to the same report, the average for the previous 4 weeks was 409,000, which amounts to 1.6-plus million initial claims for March.  Sooo, I think the question needs to be, "What type of math are these people doing in DC?" cause it sure doesn't make any sense to me!!!

In the wake of a 12-year battle to keep Monsanto's Genetically Engineered (GE) crops from contaminating the nation's 25,000 organic farms and ranches, America's organic consumers and producers are facing betrayal. A self-appointed cabal of the Organic Elite, spearheaded by Whole Foods Market, Organic Valley, and Stonyfield Farm, has decided it's time to surrender to Monsanto. Top executives from these companies have publicly admitted that they no longer oppose the mass commercialization of GE crops, such as Monsanto's controversial Roundup Ready alfalfa, and are prepared to sit down and cut a deal for "coexistence" with Monsanto and USDA biotech cheerleader Tom Vilsack.

The latter would have set rules to protect non-GE crops from contamination. Since shortly before the major earthquake happened, there were several between 4 to 7 magnitude and 2 days before the devastating 9 magnitude earthquake, there was a 7.2 magnitude quake.  To see a list of quakes as they happen around the world and keep tabs on the hundreds of quakes happening around Japan, the "ring of fire," and the world, you can visit the USGS site here.

The Southern Poverty Law Center Targets Films and Websites as "anti-government Patriot Groups"
Active ‘Patriot’ Groups in the United States in 2010

The Intelligence Project identified 824 anti-government “Patriot” groups that were active in 2010.

Of these groups, 330 were militias, marked with an asterisk, and the remainder includes “common-law” courts, publishers, ministries and citizens’ groups.

Generally, Patriot groups define themselves as opposed to the “New World Order,” engage in groundless conspiracy theorizing, or advocate or adhere to extreme antigovernment doctrines.

What you need to know about crude oil imports...
First, THE US DOES NOT IMPORT THE BULK OF ITS CRUDE OIL FROM THE MIDDLE EAST!

Second, The US imports more than twice as much crude oil from Canada and Mexico as it does from ANY OTHER REGION OR CONTINENT IN THE WORLD!

Third, Of the Top Five Countries from which the US imports crude oil, 1 from the Middle East, 1 from Africa and 1 from South America, the US STILL imports more oil from Canada and Mexico than the next 3 COMBINED!

Forth, IF you add in the 6th country down, which is Iraq, we STILL import more crude oil from Canada and Mexico than from the next 4 COMBINED!

Here is a break down for you:
Thousand Barrels per day
( December 2010: Data is most recent figures available from the Energy Information Administration)
North America  3, 287
South America  1.593
Africa               1,593
MIDDLE EAST  1,537
Other countries    282

Fifth, as a MATTER OF FACT, The US imports 40% of its crude oil form Canada and Mexico, 19% each from South America, Africa and the Middle East, and 3% from other countries.

Sixth, Look at it from a different angle:
62% of US Crude comes from North America, South America, Russia and The UK!

38% of US crude comes from the Middle East and Africa (the Top 15 of which, Libya and Egypt are not included!)!

SO...when you go to the pump and are told the price of gasoline is because of the civil unrest in the Middle East or Africa, you need to ask yourself WHY THAT IS!

February 10, 2011

After 219 years as the citadel of American capitalism, the New York Stock Exchange was near an agreement to be acquired by Deutsche Börse AG in a deal that would create the world's largest financial exchange.

If a deal is reached and regulators approve, the combined company would trade more stocks and futures than any rival in the world and more options than any U.S. exchange. The takeover would culminate a decade of tie-ups by exchanges around the world eager to find new sources of growth and catch up with smaller rivals that have been quicker to embrace new and lucrative kinds of trading.  Read More

February Is Earthquake Awareness Month in Missouri!
Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources

Nearly 200 years ago, Missourians experienced powerful earthquakes in the Bootheel region of the state. Three earthquakes, estimated at magnitude 7.0 or greater occurred along the New Madrid fault in the winter of 1811-12.

Small earthquakes occur in the region daily. While earthquakes along the fault do not cause loss of life, they are a natural hazard that no one can predict. Fortunately, there are things everyone can do to be better prepared.  Read More

PROMISES, PROMISES: 'Widows' tax' lingers

Tens of thousands of the nation's war widows find it perplexing and downright disrespectful to their late military husbands: In order to fully collect on insurance their husbands bought for them when alive, they must marry another man.

And to qualify, the widows must remarry when they are 57 or older. Those who remarry earlier miss out, as do widows who never remarry.  Read More

Gore’s Claim That Snowfall Is Caused By Global Warming Contradicts His Own Movie
Climate Depot (Found on Kick Them All Out)

Former Vice President Al Gore’s website was crashed by Matt Drudge’s website on Tuesday afternoon. Gore’s site was down from approximately 4:30 PM ET until about 6PM ET.

The DrudgeReport.com linked to Gore’s claim that “heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they (scientists) have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming” at exactly 4:29pm ET.

Gore’s website crashed almost immediately following Drudge’s link. The irony for Gore is that he has touted his role of “creating the Internet.”  Read More

The Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto

Many people are wondering just what is going on.  The news is bizarre and we are not "recovering" from the recession, even though "experts who say when recessions start and end declare the Recession of 2008 over."  Something kept coming up, with regards to that and so I decided I might relay it here.

Our country, many have said, has been on a communist style wave for years.  I had read the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto some time ago, but I wrote that off as coincidence.  Unfortunately, many people are losing their homes to crazy foreclosures and that is not okay with me.  Many others either can't find work, and still others have given up.  I think it bears looking over the Communist Manifesto, again.

Check it out here.  There is commentary that makes sense.

In Honor of our WWII Veterans

In honor of our WWII Veterans, I feel it is of the utmost importance for everyone to be aware of certain actions that, had they been avoided, may have saved lives of millions of people.  Most assuredly, there would have been a possibility of saving the lives of our many of our Navy men stationed at Pearl Harbor at the time.

Take the time to look over and read these 2 articles.  Research, for yourself, the McCollum Memo.  What is certain is that our federal government treats our military as expendable.  This is UNACCEPTABLE!  These are the men and women who defend this country, and while they are willing to lay down their very lives for our protection, should they be killed off with so much disregard?.  There was no need for the loss of life at Pearl Harbor!

Both articles are provided for the different information they provide.  One of the articles views the tragedy at Pearl Harbor for what it is, an egregious act against this country, by its leaders.  The other finds a way to support the heinous crime against our Country.  I leave it for you to decide...But as for me?  I say the actions by the men that orchestrated this disaster were treasonous!

Pearl Harbor Deception
American Patriot Friends Network

On 7 December 1941 the greatest disaster in United States history occurred. Truly this was and is, “’A date which will live in infamy.’”(Costello 1), but not for the bombing of Pearl Harbor, rather for the deception and the mis-guidance used by the Government and Franklin D. Roosevelt. In a purely artificial chess game Roosevelt sacrificed over 2400 American Seamen’s lives, thanks to his power as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. By over-looking the obvious facts of an attack by Japan on Pearl Harbor, Roosevelt was able to control both the political and economic systems of the United States. Most of American society before the Pearl Harbor bombing believed in the idea of isolationism.

Republicans Put 99 Dem House seats in danger
Politico

October 19, 2010

With two weeks remaining until Election Day, the political map has expanded to put Democrats on the run across the country — with 99 Democratic-held House seats now in play, according to a POLITICO analysis, and Republicans well in reach of retaking the House.

It’s a dramatic departure from the outlook one year ago — and a broader landscape than even just prior to the summer congressional recess. As recently as early September, many Republicans were hesitant to talk about winning a majority for fear of overreaching.

Today, however, the nonpartisan Cook Political Report predicts a GOP net gain of at least 40 House seats, with 90 Democratic seats in total rated as competitive or likely Republican.  Read More

TALLAHASSEE — Diop Kamau's home in a leafy, gated community just north of town is not easy to find — for good reason.

For more than two decades, the 52-year-old former Hawthorne, Calif., police officer has made a living embarrassing cops with a video camera.

Stung by the rough treatment of his father during a 1987 traffic stop by another California department, Kamau turned to a second career recording police across the country in compromising — often abusive — encounters with the public.

Some of the controversial videos made using hidden microphones and cameras found their way to network and cable television, exposing police to deserved criticism.  Read More
